Navigating an assignment
Each tab in an Assignment is designed to help you source, organize, and communicate with candidates efficiently.
Below is a clear overview of what each tab does and how to use it.
Sourcing
Your main workspace for finding and discovering new candidates. The Sourcing section includes three tabs - Pool, Public, and Extension - representing different sources of talent.
Pool
Candidates already stored in your organization’s internal database. These are profiles your team has previously added, contacted, or interacted with.
Public
Externally sourced candidates who have not applied to this Assignment. Use this tab to expand your search beyond your internal database and explore new potential matches.
Extension
Candidates added through the TalentRiver LinkedIn Extension. These profiles come directly from LinkedIn or LinkedIn Recruiter.
Saved
Candidates you’ve marked as interesting will appear here. Use this tab to keep track of profiles you plan to review, shortlist, or reach out to later.
Skipped
Profiles you’ve chosen to remove from the active search for this Assignment. Skipped candidates remain visible here for reference but will not appear in your main Sourcing view or pipeline.
