Saving and contacting candidates

Once you've found candidates worth acting on, TalentRiver gives you a set of actions to move them forward without leaving the search results.

Individual candidate actions

Save — adds the candidate to your Saved bucket, visible at the top of your results. Use this to shortlist candidates as you review results before deciding what to do with them. Saved candidates stay in place across sessions so you can build a list over time.

Skip — moves the candidate to your Skipped bucket and removes them from your main view. Use this to keep your results clean as you work through them. Skipped candidates are not deleted - you can review them later if needed.

Send to ATS — pushes the candidate directly into the ATS pipeline for the active project. Use this when you've decided a candidate is worth progressing. The candidate lands in the correct project in your ATS without any manual export or copy-pasting.

Connect — sends a LinkedIn connection request or InMail directly from TalentRiver. Use this to reach out to a candidate without switching to LinkedIn. The next section covers how to build and send full outreach sequences at scale.

Bulk actions

Once you've built up a saved list, you don't need to act on candidates one by one. Click Select all while in the Saved tab to select your entire shortlist, then choose a bulk action:

  • Send to ATS — pushes all selected candidates into the ATS pipeline in one step

  • Contact — opens bulk outreach, where you can add all selected candidates to a sequence at once
